A recurring question from my followers and customers is why Monsieur Bijoux necklaces are mounted on metal pins and not threaded on wire. There are several reasons for this:
- Strength and Durability : Metal is stronger than wire, making it more durable. It is less likely to break under tension or the weight of the beads or pendants.
- Structure and form : The metal pins give the necklace movement and also allow it to maintain a specific shape. I like this mix of rigidity and flexibility.
- Aesthetic : Metal adds a special aesthetic touch because it is visible and an integral part of the design. It gives a more sophisticated look to my pieces.
